Meet my family...
my Breeding Adults
All my Sires and Dams are tested for FeLV/FIV and are DNA tested for PKD.
Only tested-NEGATIVE cats are allowed to breed.

Have you heard of PKD? PKD stands for Polycystic Kidney Disease. It is a "genetic" disease--it is NOT contagious. 25% to 100% of kittens born from one or both parents who have PKD will also be born with the disease. The only way to combat and eliminate PKD is for all Breeders to have their adults DNA tested. I feel that any cat that has tests positive should be spayed/neutered and not allowed to breed. Why? Because kittens which inherit PKD will not be able to live out their natural life and, if bred, will continue to perpetuate this disease. An Old Russian Prayer (Anonymous)
"Hear our prayer, Lord, for all animals, May they be well-fed and well-trained and happy; Protect them from hunger and fear and suffering; And, we pray, protect specially, dear Lord, The little cat who is the companion of our home,...."
